Changing Minds Changing Lives
Contact MeIf you’re like most people you’re either coming out of, going into, or in the middle of life’s difficult transitions: a personal or family crisis, the end of a relationship, burnout, empty nest or a midlife crises. I want to encourage you to not “go it alone!” Find a counselor you connect with who is intuitive, empathic, respectful and can serve as a catalyst to change and renewal. Counseling is not weakness it is wisdom and wisdom is found in the counsel of the many. If you feel we may have a connection let’s discuss further and see if we’re a good fit.
My passion is to build effective therapeutic relationships focusing on the whole person (mind, emotions, behavior, and spirit) helping as a catalyst for positive change which clients may implement in their lives.

COUNSELING
Counseling is defined by the American Counseling Association as “A professional relationship that empowers individuals, families, and groups to accomplish mental health, wellness, education, and career goals.” I utilize evidence-based therapies grounded in scientific data, knowledge and research combining many different theories because I believe there is no “one size fits all solution.”
Research from the University of Colorado confirms talk therapy, sometimes called insight therapy or psychotherapy works. It helps clients find solutions not only to specific symptoms but also to difficulties at work, in their social lives, and with self-esteem (Psychology Today, 2010).
